Pianoteq Bosendorfer

Pianoteq for Mac OS v.3.6.3 A physically modelled piano. Its tiny footprint (just 20 MB), playability (models all 127 midi velocities) and flexibility (offering unique physical parameters) makes it truly unique and superior to the sampled based variants. The demos of the Garritan Steinway sound exquisite, yet of course that is a Steinway and I think I am in the mindset of wanting a Bosendorfer - principally because I've played the Bardstown and - more importantly - mixed the Bardstown, so I know how it sits in a mix. The Pianoteq modelled jobby is incredible because of it's size.

PETROF 284 Mistral concert grand piano is the PETROF company masterpiece. Measuring 2.84 m in length, it is their largest piano, and is loved for its tremendous bass and resonant treble. Artists find in it a trusty companion when performing the most demanding works. It also possesses the soft, romantic tone that is so characteristic of all PETROF grand pianos.

ANT. PETROF 275 concert grand piano is the PETROF company flagship, bringing the authority required for concert halls. It maintains the colourful, romantic and rounded tone which the PETROF instruments are praised for, thanks to first class materials. The instrument reflects the skills, care and innovatory spirit inherited ever since Antonín Petrof built his first grand piano in 1864.

The new meaning of heavyweight. EastWest/Quantum Leap Pianos stands out because it's the biggest most ambitious sampled piano project ever, with the sound quality to prove it.

After two years of recording, editing, and programming, EastWest/Quantum Leap proudly present the most detailed collection of the world's finest grand pianos ever recorded in one of the 'temples of sound', EASTWEST STUDIOS (more RIAA certified platinum and gold records awarded than any other recording studios) with 3 mic positions for each piano.

This virtual instrument includes four of the world's finest grand pianos: a Bechstein D-280, Steinway D, Bösendorfer 290, and Yamaha C7. The PLAY interface includes impulses from the same hall the producers used to record Symphonic Orchestra and Symphonic Choirs so the pianos can blend with those collections.
